During the warm summer of 1924, the great poet Juan Ramón Jiménez, invited by the García Lorca family and composer Manuel de Falla, embarked on an unforgettable journey to Granada. Surrounded by the city's beauty and rich history, Jiménez felt deeply captivated. The sounds of flowing water, the vibrant landscapes of the Alhambra, and the city's rich culture inspired him to write one of his most abstract and symbolic poems: "El Ladrón de Agua".
